Brad Gordon
Hornsby - Physiotherapist - BPhty, APAMBrad joined the Northside Sports Physiotherapy team after completing his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australia Catholic University in early 2018. Throughout Uni he worked for Sydney Junior Rugby Union providing first aid as well as assisting the Physio at the Warringah Rats for a season.
Brad has always had an interest in all sports having started playing soccer and cricket at the age of 4. He later picked up Rugby League and played all three sports on the Northern Beaches throughout high school. Between school and University Brad required spinal surgery on a ruptured disc that he sustained at the gym, preventing him from playing contact sport for several years. Throughout this time his focus turned to developing core strength to allow him to return to the gym and eventually returned to Rugby Union for the Wakehurst Subbies with no ongoing issues.
It is Brad’s long history of injuries that lead him to becoming a physio and his love of returning patients to the activities that they enjoy as soon as possible. He enjoys treating all injuries from the typical ankle or shoulder from playing weekend sport through to the niggling back or knee pain that won’t resolve. His focus in the clinic is getting an accurate diagnosis and then utilising a mixture of both hands-on and exercised based treatments to relieve pain and improve function as prevent any further injuries or pain.
