Robbie Wright     

B. App. Sc (Physiotherapy), APAM

Principal & Physiotherapist

Robbie joined Northside Sports Physiotherapy in 2003 after spending 9 years as a full time physiotherapist in the NRL, during this time providing services for the North Sydney Bears, Northern Eagles and Manly Sea Eagles rugby league teams. He was also a professional AFL player having represented the Sydney Swans. Since joining Northside Sports Physiotherapy, Robbie has dedicated much of his time to the management and prevention of injuries to the students at Barker College.


Alan Robinson

Al began working at Northside Sports Physio in 2009 after graduating from the University of Sydney with a bachelor degree in physiotherapy in 2008. During the winter sports season Al loves the on-field work he does for the rugby teams of Barker College and is kept busy working with the Barker 1st XV rugby. Al assisted in the role of physiotherapist to the Sydney Blue Sox baseball team for the 2011-12 season. He completed his Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy in 2016 and hopes to complete his Masters this year through La Trobe University. Al started using Dry Needling in 2015 and has enjoyed seeing the relief it gives to many of his patients.


Stephanie Hudson  

DPT, B. App.Sc (Exercise & Sport), APAM 


Steph  joined our team after graduating from Macquarie University with a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree. During this degree, Steph had the opportunity to conduct research with physiotherapists from the Australian Institute of Sport. This research looked at hip and knee strength ratios in elite runners. Steph has also completed a bachelor degree in Exercise and Sport Science at Sydney University. Over the winter season, she has also been involved in AFL sports coverage with the Pennant Hills Demons. Steph herself has been highly involved in athletics particularly middle distances and enjoys playing hockey and touch football.


Tim Cleasby



Tim joined the team as a physiotherapist after graduating from Sydney University with a Masters of Physiotherapy. Before this Tim achieved a Bachelor degree in Human Movement from the University of Technology Sydney. Tim has been a part of the weekend sports coverage team here at Northside while completing his studies, and enjoys assisting people with achieving their own goals. Tim has played a range of different sports throughout his studies, including representative basketball and loves getting the opportunity to go surfing in his spare time.
